Water temperature was 28\u00a0\u00b0C and the invertebrates were observed at 2\u20138\u00a0m depth. The sightings included a single basket star <jats:italic>Astroboa nuda<\/jats:italic> (Lyman 1874), 2 large <jats:italic>Tectus dentatus<\/jats:italic> (Forskal 1775) sea snails, 14 individuals of the <jats:italic>Leiaster<\/jats:italic> cf. <jats:italic>leachi<\/jats:italic> (Gray 1840) sea star and 1 <jats:italic>Mithrodia clavigera<\/jats:italic> (Lamarck 1816) sea star, 3 <jats:italic>Pearsonothuria graeffei<\/jats:italic> (Semper 1868) sea cucumbers, and 2 giant clams, <jats:italic>Tridacna maxima<\/jats:italic> (R\u00f6ding 1798).
