The number of <jats:italic>A. fabae<\/jats:italic> at which females of <jats:italic>C. undecimpunctata<\/jats:italic> ate most aphids, achieved maximum reproduction and maintained their body weight, was 200. The presence of <jats:italic>H. axyridis<\/jats:italic> adults, unlike the presence of <jats:italic>C. undecimpunctata<\/jats:italic>, significantly affected the reproductive numerical response of <jats:italic>C. undecimpunctata<\/jats:italic> even though the resource was not in short supply. The results suggest that interference competition with heterospecifics may adversely affect the reproductive capacity of <jats:italic>C. undecimpunctata<\/jats:italic>.
