The IG completed 60\u201370\u00a0min of supervised HSRT three times weekly for 16\u00a0weeks. All concentric actions were continuously monitored with a BEAST<jats:sup>\u2122<\/jats:sup> sensor. Physical function was evaluated by five tests: chair\u2010stand, timed up and go (TUG), seated medicine ball throw\u00a0(SMBT), six-minute walk (6MWT), and handgrip strength. General cognitive function was assessed with the mini-mental state examination (MMSE).<\/jats:p>\n          <\/jats:sec>\n          <jats:sec>\n            <jats:title>Results<\/jats:title>\n            <jats:p>The intervention could induce significant improvements in favor of the IG (<jats:italic>p<\/jats:italic>\u2009&lt;\u20090.001) for chair-stand (<jats:inline-formula>\n
