We have purified three factors which seem to be low\u2010<jats:italic>M<\/jats:italic>\n<jats:sub>r<\/jats:sub> peptides. They have been purified by means of acid extraction, octadecyl Sep\u2010Pak cartridges, and chromatography on Bio\u2010Gel P\u201010, CM Bio\u2010Gel A, Mono S and reverse\u2010phase high\u2010performance liquid chromatography columns. The factors contain 26, 31 and 33 amino acids and may have been partially degraded during isolation.
