This kind of protein would inhibit in vivo CaCO<jats:sub>3<\/jats:sub>\u2010crystal growth in pancreatic juice. PSP and PSP S1 N\u2010terminal sequences are identical (NH<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>Ile\u2010).
