The in vitro translation products were investigated in a rabbit reticulocyte cell\u2010free system by immunoprecipitation of cytosolic epoxide hydrolase, catalase and albumin. The soluble forms of epoxide hydrolase present in cytosol and in peroxisomes were found to be synthesized on free polyribosomes and could not be distinguished from each other, since only one primary translation product was found with the methods used.
