The proteins in this membrane were separated by SDS\u2010PAGE, transferred to a nitrocellulose filter, and incubated with [\u03b1\u2010<jats:sup>23<\/jats:sup>P]GTP. Three GTP\u2010binding proteins with the molecular weight of 24 000 were found. Binding was prevented by 10<jats:sup>\u22128<\/jats:sup>\u201410<jats:sup>\u22127<\/jats:sup> M GTP or by 10<jats:sup>\u22127<\/jats:sup> M guanosine 5\u2032\u2010[\u03b3\u2010thio]triphosphate or GDP; binding was unaffected by 10<jats:sup>\u22128<\/jats:sup>\u201410<jats:sup>\u22126<\/jats:sup> M ATP.
