In particular, erbstatin (IC<jats:sub>50<\/jats:sub>~20<jats:styled-content><jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xlink\" xlink:href=\"graphic\/feb2001457939080715u-math-si1.gif\" xlink:title=\"urn:x-wiley:00145793:media:feb2001457939080715u:feb2001457939080715u-math-si1\"\/><\/jats:styled-content>) abrogated a wide range of platelet responses to PAF, including tyrosine phosphorylation of cellular proteins, polyphosphoinositide turnover, activation of membranous protein kinase C, platelet aggregation, and serotonin secretion. With about a third of the potency of erbstatin, compound RG50864 also inhibited many of these responses, whereas at 100 <jats:styled-content><jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xlink\" xlink:href=\"graphic\/feb2001457939080715u-math-si2.gif\" xlink:title=\"urn:x-wiley:00145793:media:feb2001457939080715u:feb2001457939080715u-math-si2\"\/><\/jats:styled-content>, genistein, 670C88 and ST271 were without effect.
