AI seemed to be able to perfectly \nsolve various problems that involved any intellectual activities. For \ninstance, MYCIN (Shortliffe, 1976), developed at \nStanford, gave a strong impression that medical doctors could have been \nsoon supported by a clever consultation system, resulting in more accurate \ndiagnoses.
