Related notions were further investigated and applied for various goals by Fitting. In the present paper a general definition of bilattices is proposed, which covers all particular cases that have actually been used in the literature. It is shown also that in the finite case every bilattice in our sense is graphically representable by a special type of a two-dimensional diagram.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1017\/s0960129500000827","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2009,3,4]],"date-time":"2009-03-04T09:01:13Z","timestamp":1236157273000},"page":"431-438","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":7,"title":["A note on the structure of bilattices"],"prefix":"10.1017","volume":"5","author":[{"given":"A.","family":"Avron","sequence":"first","affiliation":[]}],"member":"56","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2009,3,4]]},"reference":[{"key":"S0960129500000827_ref008","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1111\/j.1467-8640.1988.tb00280.x"},{"key":"S0960129500000827_ref007","doi-asserted-by":"crossref","first-page":"113","DOI":"10.3233\/FI-1994-201234","article-title":"Kleene\u2019s three-valued logics and their children","volume":"20","author":"Fitting","year":"1994","journal-title":"Fundamenta Informaticae"},{"key":"S0960129500000827_ref005","volume-title":"Handbook of Logic in AI and Logic Programming","author":"Fitting","year":"1990"},{"key":"S0960129500000827_ref004","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1093\/logcom\/1.6.797"},{"key":"S0960129500000827_ref006","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1016\/0743-1066(91)90014-G"},{"key":"S0960129500000827_ref002","first-page":"30","volume-title":"Contemporary Aspects of Philosophy","author":"Belnap","year":"1977"},{"key":"S0960129500000827_ref001","first-page":"8","volume-title":"Modern Uses of Multiple-Valued Logic","author":"Belnap","year":"1977"},{"key":"S0960129500000827_ref003","first-page":"63","volume-title":"Proc. 4th Annual Symp. on Logic in Computer Science","author":"Fitting","year":"1989"}],"container-title":["Mathematical Structures in Computer Science"],"original-title":[],"language":"en","link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/services\/aop-cambridge-core\/content\/view\/S0960129500000827","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2020,5,16]],"date-time":"2020-05-16T08:43:27Z","timestamp":1589618607000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/product\/identifier\/S0960129500000827\/type\/journal_article"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[1995,9]]},"references-count":8,"journal-issue":{"issue":"3","published-print":{"date-parts":[[1995,9]]}},"alternative-id":["S0960129500000827"],"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1017\/s0960129500000827","relation":{},"ISSN":["0960-1295","1469-8072"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0960-1295","type":"print"},{"value":"1469-8072","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[1995,9]]}}}
