Comp."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[1996,6]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>In this paper, asymptotical estimates of the form <jats:italic>R<\/jats:italic><jats:sup><jats:italic>n<\/jats:italic>(1+<jats:italic>o<\/jats:italic>(1))<\/jats:sup> for various classes of planar valency-restricted Eulerian maps are established. It follows, in particular, that \u2018almost all\u2019 (as <jats:italic>n<\/jats:italic> \u2192 \u221e) <jats:italic>n<\/jats:italic>-edged planar Eulerian maps have <jats:italic>n<\/jats:italic>\/3 (1+<jats:italic>o<\/jats:italic>(1)) vertices.
