Caregivers recorded child dinner vegetable intake on the nights of strategy implementation and rated the level of difficulty for assigned strategies. Baseline data on home vegetable availability and child vegetable liking were collected to assess overall strategy feasibility.<\/jats:p><\/jats:sec><jats:sec id=\"S1368980017000131_abs3\" sec-type=\"general\"><jats:title>Setting<\/jats:title><jats:p>Participants\u2019 homes in a large Midwestern metropolitan area, USA.<\/jats:p><\/jats:sec><jats:sec id=\"S1368980017000131_abs4\" sec-type=\"subjects\"><jats:title>Subjects<\/jats:title><jats:p>Low-income caregiver\/child (aged 9\u201312 years) dyads (<jats:italic>n<\/jats:italic> 39).<\/jats:p><\/jats:sec><jats:sec id=\"S1368980017000131_abs5\" sec-type=\"results\"><jats:title>Results<\/jats:title><jats:p>Pairwise comparisons showed that child dinner vegetable intake for the strategy \u2018Serve at least two vegetables with dinner meals\u2019 was greater than intake for each of two other strategies: \u2018Pair vegetables with other foods the child likes\u2019 and \u2018Eat dinner together with an adult(s) modelling vegetable consumption\u2019. Overall, caregivers\u2019 mean rating of difficulty for implementing strategies was 2\u00b76 (1=\u2018not difficult\u2019, 10=\u2018very difficult\u2019). Households had a mean of ten different types of vegetables available.
