Ass."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2020,5]]},"abstract":"<jats:title>Abstract<\/jats:title><jats:p>The amphipod <jats:italic>Ericthonius didymus<\/jats:italic> Krapp-Schickel, 2013 is reported for the first time outside its type locality in European waters, from the French Atlantic coast and from the Azores, Portugal. In particular, a large population was recorded in Arcachon, France. Molecular analyses were made to confirm the validity of three closely related <jats:italic>Ericthonius<\/jats:italic> species: <jats:italic>E. didymus<\/jats:italic>, <jats:italic>E. convexus<\/jats:italic> and <jats:italic>E. pugnax<\/jats:italic>.
