Most prior studies on DT analyze outcomes for palliative care patients. The aim of this systematic review is to explore the outcomes of DT in palliative care patients\u2019 family members.<\/jats:p><\/jats:sec><jats:sec id=\"S147895152100033X_sec_a2\" sec-type=\"methods\"><jats:title>Method<\/jats:title><jats:p>In June 2020, a bibliographic search was performed using the terms \u201cDignity Therapy\u201d and \u201cPalliative Care\u201d in the following databases: <jats:italic>Cochrane library<\/jats:italic>, <jats:italic>TRIP database<\/jats:italic>, <jats:italic>PUBMED<\/jats:italic>, <jats:italic>Scopus,<\/jats:italic> and <jats:italic>Web of Knowledge<\/jats:italic>. Of the 294 articles found, 8 met the selection criteria and were considered in the present study. No articles were excluded based on their publication date.<\/jats:p><\/jats:sec><jats:sec id=\"S147895152100033X_sec_a3\" sec-type=\"results\"><jats:title>Results<\/jats:title><jats:p>Family members generally believe that DT helps them to better prepare the patient's end-of-life and overcome the bereavement phase. The legacy document was considered a source of comfort, and most would recommend DT to other people in their situation. DT is generally considered as important as any other aspect of the patient's treatment.<\/jats:p><\/jats:sec><jats:sec id=\"S147895152100033X_sec_a4\"><jats:title>Significance of results<\/jats:title><jats:p>There is evidence of the benefits of DT for palliative patients\u2019 family members. However, there are still few studies that evaluate these outcomes.
