Young Yong Kim received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronics engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 1991 and 1993, respectively. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include performance analysis of wireless network, channel modeling, and queueing theory. E-mail: young@globe.ece.utexas.edu San-qi Li received the B.S. degree from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing, China, in 1976, and the M.A. Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, in 1982 and 1985, respectively, all in electrical engineering. From 1985 to 1989, he was Associate Research Scientist and Principal Investigator at Center for Telecommunication Research at Columbia University in New York. In September 1989, he joined the faculty of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Texas at Austin, where he is presently Associate Professor. To date he has published more than 100 papers in international archival journals and refereed international conference proceedings. The main focus of Dr. Li's research has been to develop new analytical methodologies and carry out performance analysis of multimedia service networks, and based on these methodologies, to understand system fundamentals and explore new design concepts. Dr. Li has served as a member of the Technical Program Committee for the IEEE Infocom Conference since 1988. Since 1995 he serves as an editor of IEEE\/ACM Transaction on Networking.
