An analysis of 1,000,740 patients invited to use a COVID-19 chatbot, 69,451 (6.94%) of which agreed to participate, shows differences in chatbot feature use by gender, race, and age. These results can inform future public health COVID-19 symptom screening and information dissemination strategies.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1038\/s41746-021-00405-8","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2021,2,20]],"date-time":"2021-02-20T16:02:53Z","timestamp":1613836973000},"update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1007\/springer_crossmark_policy","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":11,"title":["Population subgroup differences in the use of a COVID-19 chatbot"],"prefix":"10.1038","volume":"4","author":[{"given":"Laura C.","family":"Schubel","sequence":"first","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Deliya B.","family":"Wesley","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Ethan","family":"Booker","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"John","family":"Lock","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0002-8623-6123","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Raj M.","family":"Ratwani","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"297","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2021,2,19]]},"reference":[{"key":"405_CR1","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","first-page":"619","DOI":"10.1001\/jamainternmed.2016.0400","volume":"176","author":"AS Miner","year":"2016","unstructured":"Miner, A.
