{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2024,2,7]],"date-time":"2024-02-07T23:08:25Z","timestamp":1707347305312},"reference-count":10,"publisher":"AIP Publishing","issue":"3","content-domain":{"domain":["pubs.aip.org"],"crossmark-restriction":true},"short-container-title":[],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[1973,8,1]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>The conformation of the phenyl rings of tetraphenylethylene is shown by calculation of ring-A-ring-B-ring-C NMR proton interactions to be nearly perpendicular to the plane of the C=C ethylenic bonds. There is, however, some contribution from other geometries. Calculations are made using John-Bovey tables and the results are compared with the experimental finding of a single sharp peak near 2.95 \u03c4.
