{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2026,4,12]],"date-time":"2026-04-12T01:26:20Z","timestamp":1775957180262,"version":"3.50.1"},"reference-count":47,"publisher":"AIP Publishing","issue":"21","content-domain":{"domain":["pubs.aip.org"],"crossmark-restriction":true},"short-container-title":[],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2013,6,7]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>Room-temperature crystal structure and multiferroic properties of the Bi0.92Nd0.08Fe1\u2212xMnxO3 (x\u2009\u2264\u20090.3) ferromanganites have been studied to reveal the effect of Mn doping on the magnetic and ferroelectric behaviors of the lanthanide-modified compound representing a polar (space group R3c) predominantly antiferromagnetic phase of the Bi1\u2212xLnxFeO3 perovskites. B-site substitution tends to suppress existing polar displacements and induces a ferroelectric-to-antiferroelectric transition near x\u2009=\u20090.2. The threshold concentration inducing the structural transformation does not coincide with that required to change the dominant magnetic interaction, so a weak ferromagnetic\/ferroelectric state unusual for the Bi1\u2212xLnxFeO3 and BiFe1\u2212xMnxO3 series appears in the intermediate concentration range near the polar\/nonpolar phase boundary.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1063\/1.4810764","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2013,6,8]],"date-time":"2013-06-08T14:45:59Z","timestamp":1370702759000},"update-policy":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1063\/aip-crossmark-policy-page","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":27,"title":["Mn substitution-modified polar phase in the Bi1\u2212xNdxFeO3 multiferroics"],"prefix":"10.1063","volume":"113","author":[{"given":"V.
