It analyses how\n\t\t\t\t\t\tparliamentary speech is recorded and presented across that period, examining\n\t\t\t\t\t\tthe changes in direct and indirect speech types arising from commercial\n\t\t\t\t\t\tfactors, pressure from parliament, editorial practice, and the availability\n\t\t\t\t\t\tand quality of source material.
