Educ."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2018,3,1]]},"abstract":"<jats:title>Abstract<\/jats:title>\n                  <jats:p>\n                    In sports, it is very common to see athletes performing jumps, where they impose rotations to their own bodies\u2019 elements and intentionaly change their moment of inertia around the centre of mass (CM). When this occurs, weird effects are observed in the body\u2019s trajectories. In this work we study a jump called\n                    <jats:italic>Grand Jet\u00e9<\/jats:italic>\n                    of a ballerina, in which she moves her arms and legs to give the feeling that her body remains \u2018floating\u2019 in the air for a long time.
