Phys."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2024,6,1]]},"abstract":"<jats:title>Abstract<\/jats:title>\n               <jats:p>We study radial perturbations of spherically symmetric spin-0 and spin-1 bosonic stars, computing numerically the squared frequency of the fundamental mode. We find that not all critical points \u2014 where the Arnowitt-Deser-Misner mass attains an extremum \u2014 correspond to zero modes. Thus, radial stability does not <jats:italic>always<\/jats:italic> change at such critical points.
