Ser."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2022,11,1]]},"abstract":"<jats:title>Abstract<\/jats:title>\n               <jats:p>This paper presents selected numerical simulations performed using Johnson\u2013Segalman model with specific setting of the convected derivative resulting in shear-thinning behavior of the model. The results are compared with the generalized Oldroyd-B model, which is typically used to simulate shear-thinning viscoelastic flows. Both models are solved using an in-house finite-volume solver on structured grid simulating steady flow in three-dimensional axisymmetric channel with smooth contraction.
