By defining a standard for translation between matrix and image data structures, researchers are empowered to select the best tool for their image-analysis tasks.<\/jats:p>\n               <\/jats:sec>\n               <jats:sec>\n                  <jats:title>Availability and Implementation<\/jats:title>\n                  <jats:p>Freely available extension to ImageJ2 (http:\/\/imagej.net\/Downloads).
