First, four degrees of freedom and six degrees of freedom dynamic models are constructed, and two state estimators are designed based on extended Kalman filter (EKF) and unscented Kalman filter (UKF), respectively. The estimation performance of different models and algorithms under sine and fishhook conditions is compared and analyzed. The study shows that under low-speed weak nonlinear conditions, the four degrees of freedom model combined with EKF can improve computational efficiency while ensuring accuracy, while under high-speed strong nonlinear conditions, the six degrees of freedom model combined with UKF can achieve the best estimation effect. In addition, the feasibility of the UKF state estimator based on the 6DOF model is verified by the Logitech G27 driving simulator. The study lays the foundation for subsequent multi-model fusion and real-time
