Knowing the intrinsic relationship between pain and depressive symptomatology, it is essential to study effective treatments that can address both conditions.<\/jats:p>\n                  <\/jats:sec>\n                  <jats:sec>\n                    <jats:title>Objective<\/jats:title>\n                    <jats:p>To assess the impact of TMS on depressive symptomatology in patients with chronic pain through a systematic review of the literature.<\/jats:p>\n                  <\/jats:sec>\n                  <jats:sec>\n                    <jats:title>Design<\/jats:title>\n                    <jats:p>Systematic review.<\/jats:p>\n                  <\/jats:sec>\n                  <jats:sec>\n                    <jats:title>Setting<\/jats:title>\n                    <jats:p>Electronic databases were systematically searched for eligible studies published up to November 2023.<\/jats:p>\n                  <\/jats:sec>\n                  <jats:sec>\n                    <jats:title>Participants<\/jats:title>\n                    <jats:p>A total of 1339 unique patients with chronic pain who underwent TMS treatment and were evaluated for both pain and depressive symptoms.<\/jats:p>\n                  <\/jats:sec>\n                  <jats:sec>\n                    <jats:title>Intervention(s) or Exposure(s)<\/jats:title>\n                    <jats:p>Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) applied using various protocols in chronic pain populations.<\/jats:p>\n                  <\/jats:sec>\n                  <jats:sec>\n                    <jats:title>Main Outcome(s) and Measure(s)<\/jats:title>\n                    <jats:p>Changes in depressive symptomatology following TMS treatment.
