{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2025,4,22]],"date-time":"2025-04-22T14:40:02Z","timestamp":1745332802592,"version":"3.40.4"},"reference-count":52,"publisher":"Ovid Technologies (Wolters Kluwer Health)","issue":"4","content-domain":{"domain":["lww.com","ovid.com"],"crossmark-restriction":true},"short-container-title":[],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2025,5]]},"abstract":"<jats:sec>\n            <jats:title>Objectives:<\/jats:title>\n            <jats:p>Evaluate the hematological parameters and indices in the blood count collected on the first day of life (D1) in very premature infants born to mothers with early-onset preeclampsia (PE) and their correlation with increased neonatal morbimortality.<\/jats:p>\n          <\/jats:sec>\n          <jats:sec>\n            <jats:title>Background:<\/jats:title>\n            <jats:p>Changes in hematologic parameters in the blood counts collected after birth associated with PE have been demonstrated by recent studies, although inconsistently.<\/jats:p>\n          <\/jats:sec>\n          <jats:sec>\n            <jats:title>Materials and Methods:<\/jats:title>\n            <jats:p>Retrospective study between 2008 and 2023, at a level III neonatal intensive care unit, including preterm infants with a gestational age below 30 weeks. A blood count was collected on D1 and a comparison of hematological parameters and indices was made between infants exposed or not to PE.<\/jats:p>\n          <\/jats:sec>\n          <jats:sec>\n            <jats:title>Results:<\/jats:title>\n            <jats:p>We included 206 newborns (PE = 39; no PE = 167). The multivariate analyses showed no significant hematological changes.
