The crystal structure of the complex consists of an [Mn(dmf)<jats:sub>6<\/jats:sub>]<jats:sup>2+<\/jats:sup> cation and a [Cr(NCS)<jats:sub>5<\/jats:sub>(dmf)]<jats:sup>2\u2212<\/jats:sup> anion (dmf = dimethylformamide).
