In this work, the NDH-II enzyme from the Gram-positive human pathogen<jats:italic>Staphylococcus aureus<\/jats:italic>was recombinantly expressed in<jats:italic>Escherichia coli<\/jats:italic>, purified, crystallized and a crystallographic data set was collected at a wavelength of 0.873\u2005\u00c5. The crystals belonged to the orthorhombic space group<jats:italic>P<\/jats:italic>2<jats:sub>1<\/jats:sub>2<jats:sub>1<\/jats:sub>2<jats:sub>1<\/jats:sub>, with unit-cell parameters<jats:italic>a<\/jats:italic>= 81.8,<jats:italic>b<\/jats:italic>= 86.0,<jats:italic>c<\/jats:italic>= 269.9\u2005\u00c5, contained four monomers per asymmetric unit and diffracted to a resolution of 3.32\u2005\u00c5.
