Offers evidence for the model's validity through case\u2010type material from the web sites of e\u2010governments worldwide.<\/jats:p><\/jats:sec><jats:sec><jats:title content-type=\"abstract-heading\">Findings<\/jats:title><jats:p>Six transition paths can be identified, four of which are more likely to result in effective e\u2010government transition.<\/jats:p><\/jats:sec><jats:sec><jats:title content-type=\"abstract-heading\">Research limitations\/implications<\/jats:title><jats:p>Further work is needed to test the validity of the model.
