Although anthropology has been largely\nneglected in the IS research literature, it is argued that important\ninsights can be gained by adopting an anthropological perspective on\ninformation systems phenomena. Illustrates the value of an\nanthropological perspective by looking at the relationship between\ninformation technology and organizational culture.
