Using a software product, we map the information space around applied knowledge management as an illustration of this basic fact. We then describe a research program that extends this logic and develop a model on four dimensions that appears to order the various programs, practices and processes in this divergent field. Implications for managers of knowledge management initiatives are discussed, and avenues for future research suggested.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1108\/13673279910275567","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2002,7,28]],"date-time":"2002-07-28T18:59:46Z","timestamp":1027882786000},"page":"110-123","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":88,"title":["Knowledge management(s)"],"prefix":"10.1108","volume":"3","author":[{"given":"Charles","family":"Despres","sequence":"first","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"Daniele","family":"Chauvel","sequence":"first","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"140","reference":[{"key":"key2022031720065723200_B1","unstructured":"Argyris, C. and Sch\u00f6n, D.A.
