The authors focused on organizational memory (OM) as it is relevant to both oOP and RM.<\/jats:p>\n               <\/jats:sec>\n               <jats:sec>\n                  <jats:title>Findings<\/jats:title>\n                  <jats:p>This study characterized the general absence of RM in oOP literature as \u201cconcealed\u201d and the specific absence of RM in OM literature as \u201cincomplete.\u201d Two aspects detailed the concealment, and three aspects detailed the incompleteness. Contributing factors were developed through logical reasoning.<\/jats:p>\n               <\/jats:sec>\n               <jats:sec>\n                  <jats:title>Research limitations\/implications<\/jats:title>\n                  <jats:p>The investigation needs to extend to more specific organizational activities beyond OM for its findings to be generalized.<\/jats:p>\n               <\/jats:sec>\n               <jats:sec>\n                  <jats:title>Practical implications<\/jats:title>\n                  <jats:p>Organizations benefit from understanding RM\u2019s role accurately and thoroughly. The advancement of RM is facilitated by its recognition among other professional work in organizations.
