In order to ensure the adjustment of these errors, for improving the robustness of GM(1, 2), was constructed an adaptive fuzzy controller which is based on two input variables and one output variable. The input variables in the adaptive fuzzy controller are: the absolute error <jats:inline-formula>\n<m:math xmlns:m=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\">\n<m:msubsup>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mi>\u03b5<\/m:mi>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mi>i<\/m:mi>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mn>0<\/m:mn>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<\/m:msubsup>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mo stretchy=\"true\">(<\/m:mo>\n<m:mi>k<\/m:mi>\n<m:mo stretchy=\"true\">)<\/m:mo>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mo stretchy=\"true\">[<\/m:mo>\n<m:mo>%<\/m:mo>\n\n<m:mo stretchy=\"true\">]<\/m:mo>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<\/m:math>\n<jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xlink\" xlink:href=\"GS-12-2015-0079020.tif\"\/>\n<\/jats:inline-formula> of GM(1, 2), and the distance between two values <jats:inline-formula>\n<m:math xmlns:m=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\">\n<m:msubsup>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mi>x<\/m:mi>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mi>i<\/m:mi>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mn>0<\/m:mn>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<\/m:msubsup>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mo stretchy=\"true\">(<\/m:mo>\n<m:mi>k<\/m:mi>\n<m:mo stretchy=\"true\">)<\/m:mo>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mo stretchy=\"true\">[<\/m:mo>\n<m:mo>%<\/m:mo>\n\n<m:mo stretchy=\"true\">]<\/m:mo>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<\/m:math>\n<jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xlink\" xlink:href=\"GS-12-2015-0079021.tif\"\/>\n<\/jats:inline-formula>, while the output variable is the error adjustment <jats:inline-formula>\n<m:math xmlns:m=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1998\/Math\/MathML\">\n<m:mi>A<\/m:mi>\n<m:msubsup>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mi>\u03b5<\/m:mi>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mi>i<\/m:mi>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mn>0<\/m:mn>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<\/m:msubsup>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mo stretchy=\"true\">(<\/m:mo>\n<m:mi>k<\/m:mi>\n<m:mo stretchy=\"true\">)<\/m:mo>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<m:mrow>\n<m:mo stretchy=\"true\">[<\/m:mo>\n<m:mo>%<\/m:mo>\n\n<m:mo stretchy=\"true\">]<\/m:mo>\n<\/m:mrow>\n<\/m:math>\n<jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xlink\" xlink:href=\"GS-12-2015-0079022.tif\"\/>\n<\/jats:inline-formula> determined with the help of the above-mentioned input variables.<\/jats:p>\n<\/jats:sec>\n<jats:sec>\n<jats:title content-type=\"abstract-subheading\">Findings<\/jats:title>\n<jats:p>The adaptive fuzzy controller has the advantage that sets the values for error adjustments by the intensity (size) of the errors, in this way being possible to determine the value adjustments for each element of the reconstructed financial data series.<\/jats:p>\n<\/jats:sec>\n<jats:sec>\n<jats:title content-type=\"abstract-subheading\">Originality\/value<\/jats:title>\n<jats:p>To ensure a robust process of planning the financial resources, the available financial data are used for long periods of time, in order to notice the trend of the financial indicators that need to be planned. In this context, the financial data series could be reconstituted using grey models that are based on sequences of financial data that best describe the status of the analyzed indicators and the status of the relevant factors of influence.
