              <jats:p> \u2013 The paper considers the results of the UK\u2019s 2014 Research Excellence Framework, and the potential of metrics to reduce the size of future exercises. <\/jats:p>\n            <\/jats:sec>\n            <jats:sec>\n               <jats:title content-type=\"abstract-heading\">Findings<\/jats:title>\n               <jats:p> \u2013 The paper suggests that a battery of non-robust metrics selected by the higher education institutions could support a greatly reduced peer-reviewed exercise. <\/jats:p>\n            <\/jats:sec>\n            <jats:sec>\n
