In the first part it presents the relevance of the theme and in the second part it presents the papers included in the special issue, including their themes, findings and novel contributions.<\/jats:p><\/jats:sec><jats:sec><jats:title content-type=\"abstract-heading\">Findings<\/jats:title><jats:p>The individual findings by the papers present significant new contributions in a deeper insight of the \u201clean\u201d and \u201cagile\u201d philosophies, or approaches in, and to, organizations. It could be noticed that the controversies of the issue \u201clean vs. agile\u201d still remain.
