This chapter examines sustainable induction and onboarding procedures, addressing inefficiencies in conventional procedures by bringing human resource management (HRM) into line with sustainability principles. Stakeholders and sustainability ideas serve as the foundation for the conversation, which highlights the triple bottom line: profit, planet, and people. Traditional onboarding is resource-intensive, requiring a lot of paperwork, in-person meetings, and long travel. It also ignores principles that are focused on sustainability, which has a major negative impact on the environment. Digital technologies that lower resource use and encourage environmentally friendly behavior help to address these problems through sustainable onboarding. A framework comprising three stages \u2013 pre-onboarding, induction, and ongoing engagement \u2013 is recommended. Online sustainability training, eco-friendly welcome packs, and electronic media can replace paper-based procedures in pre-onboarding. To balance carbon reduction with efficient orientation, the induction phase can use hybrid or virtual sessions. Mentoring, gamified sustainability exercises, and feedback systems can encourage environmentally friendly behavior. Resistance to change, the upfront expenses of digital infrastructure, and determining cultural alignment are among the key difficulties associated with sustainable onboarding and induction. To overcome these obstacles, incremental adoption techniques and assessment metrics \u2013 like goal alignment, employee happiness, and carbon footprint reduction \u2013 are
