A finite element analysis simulation model for the behavior of sulfur concrete-based structures has been developed. Experimental results were compared with the results of simulation.<\/jats:p>\n<\/jats:sec>\n<jats:sec>\n<jats:title content-type=\"abstract-subheading\">Findings<\/jats:title>\n<jats:p>Sulfur concrete has numerous terrestrial applications and is potentially an ideal construction material for planetary construction.<\/jats:p>\n<\/jats:sec>\n<jats:sec>\n<jats:title content-type=\"abstract-subheading\">Originality\/value<\/jats:title>\n<jats:p>Experimental samples of sulfur concrete were fabricated using a novel mixer\/extrusion system.
