The phenotypes of the proliferating lymphocytes were CD3<jats:sup>\u00b1<\/jats:sup>, CD4<jats:sup>\u00b1<\/jats:sup> and HLA\u2010DR<jats:sup>\u00b1<\/jats:sup>. The genomic DNAs from these cells demonstrated two rearranged T\u2010cell receptor \u03bc\u2010chain genes and contained the EBV genome.
