It grew poorly at 35\u00b0C and did not grow at 10\u00b0C. The strains studied were found to belong to the anastomosis group AG\u20101. They were pathogenic on durian, papaya, cucumber, long bean, <jats:italic>Mikania<\/jats:italic> weed, padi, musk melon, mung bean, <jats:italic>Zoysia<\/jats:italic> grass, Bermuda grass, and St Augustine grass. They were mildly pathogenic on groundnut, and non\u2010pathogenic on maize, guava and <jats:italic>Brassica<\/jats:italic>\u2018pak choy\u2019.
