Caregivers' burden was assessed using the Zarit Burden\u2010Interview. Multinomial logistic regressions were carried out using caregivers' burden as the dependent variable.<\/jats:p><\/jats:sec><jats:sec><jats:title>Results<\/jats:title><jats:p>Caregivers' severe overload was strongly associated with weight loss of more than 3\u2009kg during the previous 3\u2009months (OR\u00a0=\u00a07.34; 95% CI: 2.02\u201026.65), lower values of calf girth (OR\u00a0=\u00a03.20; 95% CI: 1.03\u20109.93), sarcopenia status (OR\u00a0=\u00a03.50; 95% CI: 1.09\u201011.22), and lower gait speed values (OR\u00a0=\u00a03.83; 95% CI: 1.18\u201012.47).
