The DNA\u2010histone complex was formed by mixing solutions of the two components at high salt molarity and gradually decreasing the salt concentration by dialysis.<\/jats:italic> <\/jats:p><jats:p> <jats:italic>The binding of histone f\u20105 to DNA as revealed by optical rotatory properties does not induce changes in DNA conformation.
