The neighbor rupture degree of a noncomplete connected graph [Formula: see text] is defined to be [Formula: see text] where [Formula: see text] is any vertex subversion strategy of [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] is the number of connected components in [Formula: see text], and [Formula: see text] is the maximum order of the components of [Formula: see text].
