Res."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2025,12]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>This paper innovatively proposes a method for analyzing and calculating the transmission ratio of compound gear trains based on the transfer block diagram approach. The method sequentially analyzes the motion transmission chain of each gear and represents the motion transmission relationship between the gears using block diagrams. By simplifying these block diagrams, the transmission ratio can be calculated. For the motion analysis of multi-degree-of-freedom and complex gear trains, the visualization modeling analysis can be efficiently performed using MATLAB\u2019s internal component, SIMULINK. The proposed block diagram method for calculating gear transmission ratios is intuitive, simple to compute, and easy to analyze.
