The present work deals with the development of an efficient algorithm for MMC process used by modulus encoder of V.90 digital modem transmitter, the corresponding assembly program development (source code generation), its simulation on simulator of Code Composer Studio and finally the implementation of modulus encoder on Digital Signal Processor (DSP). The practical results match with the simulated as well as theoretically predicted results, which confirms successful implementation of modulus encoder of V.90 digital modem transmitter on DSP.
