One of\u00a0the areas of\u00a0focus concerns analysis of\u00a0performance indicators ensuring desired behavior. In this paper we analyze linear, quadratic and\u00a0quartic performance indicators as\u00a0tools for\u00a0finding parameters of\u00a0PD[Formula: see text] and\u00a0PI[Formula: see text] controllers in [Formula: see text] ladder system of\u00a0fourth order. Proposed optimization method uses the Laguerre Impulse Response Approximation (LIRA) method and\u00a0ensures the\u00a0stability of\u00a0noninteger closed-loop system.
