Our attention is focused on the filter design, using Scaled Small Gain (SSG) approach, guaranteeing the asymptotic stability of the augmented system. A transformation model is obtained via three-term approximation method and Input\u2013Output (IO) approach based on the SSG theorem. The use of SSG theorem for the stability of discrete time-varying delayed systems with missing measurements has not been studied elsewhere in the literature. This represents the main innovation of this paper. Less conservative results are obtained, compared with previous results, and are established in terms of LMIs.
