The reported circuit is realized using two dual-X current conveyor transconductance amplifiers (DXCCTAs), two active MOS-based grounded resistors and three grounded capacitors. MOS-C realization of the proposed oscillator with all grounded capacitors is the best choice for modern integration. In this study, the ideal and non-ideal analyses and frequency stability aspect of the circuit are elucidated. The proposed third-order oscillator circuit has the advantages of orthogonally controllable frequency of oscillation &amp; condition of oscillation, very good operating frequency (34.25[Formula: see text]MHz) and low total harmonic distortion (within 1.8%). The theoretical analyses have been validated by both pre-layout and post-layout simulations using general process design kit 0.18[Formula: see text][Formula: see text]m technology and the results have been compared with relevant state-of-the-art works.
