Using spectral technique with respect to Chebyshev polynomials and in conjunction with waveform relaxation was shown to considerably reduce the computational effort for transient simulation. After a brief introduction of this novel simulation technique, equation formulation will be described in detail. Also discussed is how the choice of circuit variables used for formulation affects theoretical and numerical properties of the method.
