In this regard, our primary focus is on multiple-input translinear element (MITE) networks and their particular merits. We also describe, as an illustrative example, our monolithic implementation of the Lorenz equations, and report on results from a test chip fabricated in a 0.5 \u03bcm CMOS process through MOSIS. We also show that Chua's circuit can be implemented easily in our framework. <\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.1142\/s0218127405013496","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2005,9,29]],"date-time":"2005-09-29T05:34:54Z","timestamp":1127972094000},"page":"2559-2568","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":5,"title":["THE TRANSLINEAR PRINCIPLE: A GENERAL FRAMEWORK FOR IMPLEMENTING CHAOTIC OSCILLATORS"],"prefix":"10.1142","volume":"15","author":[{"given":"KOFI M.","family":"ODAME","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY 14853-5401, USA"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"given":"BRADLEY A.","family":"MINCH","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY 14853-5401, USA"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"219","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2011,11,20]]},"reference":[{"key":"rf1","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1109\/JPROC.2002.1015005"},{"key":"rf2","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1016\/S0016-0032(00)00019-3"},{"key":"rf3","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1142\/S0218127402006205"},{"key":"rf4","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1007\/BF00166408"},{"key":"rf5","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1103\/PhysRevLett.50.346"},{"key":"rf7","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1175\/1520-0469(1963)020<0130:DNF>2.0.CO;2"},{"key":"rf8","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1109\/TCS.1985.1085791"},{"key":"rf10","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1109\/TCSI.2003.819814"},{"key":"rf11","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1109\/TCSI.2003.822557"},{"key":"rf12","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1109\/4.597308"},{"key":"rf15","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1109\/82.246161"},{"key":"rf16","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1109\/16.137325"},{"key":"rf17","doi-asserted-by":"publisher","DOI":"10.1109\/JSSC.1983.1051939"}],"container-title":["International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos"],"original-title":[],"language":"en","link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/www.worldscientific.com\/doi\/pdf\/10.1142\/S0218127405013496","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2019,8,7]],"date-time":"2019-08-07T11:04:08Z","timestamp":1565175848000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/www.worldscientific.com\/doi\/abs\/10.1142\/S0218127405013496"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2005,8]]},"references-count":13,"journal-issue":{"issue":"08","published-online":{"date-parts":[[2011,11,20]]},"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2005,8]]}},"alternative-id":["10.1142\/S0218127405013496"],"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1142\/s0218127405013496","relation":{},"ISSN":["0218-1274","1793-6551"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0218-1274","type":"print"},{"value":"1793-6551","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2005,8]]}}}
