J. Bifurcation Chaos"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2007,11]]},"abstract":"<jats:p> In this paper, the generation of n \u00d7 m-scroll attractors under a Chua-circuit framework is presented. By using a sawtooth function, f<jats:sub>1<\/jats:sub>(x), and a staircase function, f<jats:sub>2<\/jats:sub>(y), n \u00d7 m-scroll attractors can be generated and observed from a third-order circuit. Its dynamical behaviors are investigated by means of theoretical analysis as well as numerical simulation.
